Brooklyn Jolley

**Don't forget about my 6th blogiversary giveaway!

Do you any women that just exude the Spirit of God and His character traits: loving, charity, humble, happy, hopeful? Well, I do. Her name is Brooklyn Jolley and she is a beautiful soul within a beautiful body. Brooklyn and I met through blogging and became good friends. she also cut my hair earlier this year. I've loved reading her blog and getting to know her on a better level. And, this month, she won a free sponsorship for my blog! So, I want to officially introduce you to Brooklyn Jolley!

I'm Brooklyn Jolley. On my blog I write about my faith, Disneyland, fashion, marriage and self love. I drive like a grandma, I almost always sneeze 3 times, and I'm always thinking about what I'd be doing/eating if I was in Disneyland at that moment. It is one of my happy places. I'm a Mormon, a Christ-follower, and a believer in personal meditation, yoga, prayer, Netflix marathons, and self-care. You can't take care of others unless you're taking good care of yourself.

How did you come up with the name to your blog?
I used to be A Little Too Jolley and the reason was because I grew up having everyone tell me I always seemed a little too happy. When I married into the last name Jolley it seemed like a good fit! Now I'm going by just my name to reflect my blog a little more personally but the URL is still under the old name.

What is your blog's mission or goal?
This is something I am actually working on figuring out right now! I know one of my main goals is to remind women that they are important and worth it. Everyone can make a difference! Along with that, I'm hoping to start sharing some simple ways to make a difference and be a little more service focused. Overall, my blog is my creative outlet. I don't sew, cook well, draw or create beautiful graphics, but I love to write. I love to share the things that are important to me.

What is the biggest lesson you've learned while blogging?
You are not the opinion of someone who doesn't know you. I've had my fair share of naysayers and stepped down from my blog for almost 4 months last year to decide if it was even worth it. I've decided it's MY story to share and cyber-bullying will not stop me!

What is the best thing about blogging for you?
The relationships I've gained from blogging, including meeting my husband! Him and I were set up on a blind date by a blogging friend whom I had never met in real life. 8 months later we were engaged and we've been married for over 2 years now. I'm still so grateful for that!

What are 3 of your favorite posts you've written?

She Got an iPhone for Valentine's Day and I Didn't Get a Thing: http://alittletoojolley.blogspot.com/2015/07/she-got-iphone-for-valentines-day-i.html

Besides blogging, what are some other hobbies of yours?
I love cuddling with my puppies, watching Disney movies, making hot chocolate, reading and doing yoga!

You are obsessed with Disneyland...why?
Disneyland is a very nostalgic place for me. I grew up going once a year with my family, and I have some amazing memories with my family there. Disneyland is one of the few places in the world where I can actually forget about all the stresses and worrying at home, and just enjoy. I love going because the rides are fun, the park is clean, and it is a really inspiring place for me. I have written lots about Disneyland on my blog, you can find all those posts here: http://alittletoojolley.blogspot.com/p/disney.html

Who are three people in your life that inspire you?
My husband is always inspiring me in so many ways. He encourages me in all my dreams, and chases after his own.

My Mom and Dad are my biggest examples. My mom is the best. She is always putting others first and is constantly looking for ways to serve. My Dad serves as a bishop for my church and gives so much of his time to the Lord on top of his full time job. He's always inspired me to give my all to my faith!

I'm also inspired by Walt Disney! I recently watched the PBS Walt Disney documentary, and it is refreshing to realize that Walt Disney wasn't perfect. He declared bankruptcy, went through phases of his employees hating him, and lost best friends because of the industry he was in, yet he still chased his dreams and made a difference! He used his talents to change the world.

Go and say hi to Brooklyn!
