Everyone Around Me is Getting Pets and I Want One, Too!!!

I want a pet! So badly!

I have a few friends who have bought hedgehogs. A few other friends have cats. Others have dogs.

And all my blogger friends!

I am allergic to fur and animal hair, so I've never really had a pet (other than goldfish and those don't count).

Then, a few weeks ago, my mom sent a text out saying that my youngest sister finally wore her down. This was the picture:

I've tried to hold on to my wits...not lust after cute little puppy Tucker. I play with my friends' pets and watch their videos and stalk their pictures all the time.

Then, lo and behold...one of the people I didn't think would ever give in to get a pet, did!

I mean, look at that adorable puppy!

We've discussed having a pet--most likely an adorable hedgehog, since they are awesome for those with allergies!

But...

I teach and have a 45 minute commute. Justin is a full-time student who is also working.

Who would take care of our little guy throughout the day?

But, my maternal instincts to care for something are going crazy! I need to care for something!

So, this is how I fill my time playing with an adorable pet until then...finding random other apartment dwellers' pets outside our windows!

This went on for like a total of 5 minutes! I had him walk up and down the window numerous times, even putting my face up against the window and he would try to lick it. So cute!

Justin, I need a pet. Everyone else is doing it!
