Let's Try Cooking--Spinach Alfredo

My sister is living with me over the summer. This has thrown an interesting curveball into my diet as we now share a food budget and she is a vegetarian. So, I've been creating vegetarian dishes all month (ones that I could easily pop some meat into).

About a week ago, I tried this new dish:
Spinach Alfredo

Ingredients
Linguine noodles
2 carrots
Handful of Spinach leaves
1/4 small onion
3/4 cup of Alfredo sauce
sprinkle of garlic powder
sprinkle of Parmesan cheese

Steps
  1. Chop up the carrots, spinach leaves and onions.
  2. Begin cooking the linguine noodles in boiling water.
  3. Saute the vegetables. 

     4. Pour the alfredo sauce in the vegetables. 
     5. Sprinkle on the garlic powder and Parmesan.
     6. Pour all on top of the noodles. ENJOY!!!

  1. if you need some more ideas for vegetarian dishes i can send some your way. josh and i have been trying to eat less meat so we've been cooking a lot of vegetarian dishes
