This past week, I went with my family on a cruise to Mexico! It was a blast!
Of course, the first thing that was noticeable on the cruise was the copious amount of alcohol!
Don't worry, I didn't drink any--nor would I want to. However, everyone drank a lot; but of course, it was a cruise!
Sunset!
This was the perfect ending to the first day of the cruise.

We got on the cruise ship in LA on Saturday. We explored every inch of the ship, had lunch, then got situated in our stateroom, while watching the ship leave port. Sunday was a full day on the ocean, heading to Mexico. We went swimming a lot in the ship's pool, as well as eating a TON of ice cream!
Monday, we landed in Cabo San Lucas and explored the city. Tuesday, we were still in the same city and went dune buggy-ing! That was super fun to do on the beach. We drove over hills, jumped, made sharp turns, drove right up to the beach, raced each other, and had a fantastic time.

On Thursday, we landed in Puerto Vallarta. We went on a ship excursion and were led to a small boat. We visited two small villages. The first one, we went snorkeling and saw a lot of fish living on the rocks under the waves. The second village we went to had a gorgeous, crystal blue beach. It was a very deep beach and I had to tread water for most of the time because I couldn't reach the bottom.
Here are some more pictures of the Mexican coastline, Cabo San Lucas, and Puerto Vallarta.
Thursday and Friday was spent on the ocean, heading back to LA. However, Thursday was our dress-up night on the cruise. On the main deck, photographers took our pictures. Then, we ate at the fancy restaurant, Versailles. It reminded me of the first class dining room from Titanic.
The cruise was very fun and I wish I could do it again, but now, I have 2 1/2 more weeks of school to finish. How can anyone concentrate on finals after having this extraordinary vacation?
