Creative Closet // Boho Babe

I love Jana's blog, Life Could Be A Dream. She always has the most picturesque food, such awesome fashion even while she's uber pregnant, great blogging/social media advice, and is the sweetest mommy! Even in real life, she is one of the most amazing, beautiful souls I've known!

She has an inspiring fashion linkup that she does every week, the Creative Closet. I've always felt intimidated by fashion bloggers with their perfect camera shots, perfect poses, perfect clothing.

But, this week's inspiration has done just that--inspired me. It is Boho Babe.
Growing up, I loved Bohemian fashion: peasant shirts and skirts, tinkling bells, anklets, feather earrings, etc. There is a part of me that still loves it. I even love the store Bohme (but it's waaaay to expensive for our current budget). Also, as a teacher and a mom to an almost-toddler, comfort is the way to go!

So, I decided to have a try at the Creative Closet! And, now knowing sweet Jana, I believe she'll have my back on this!

Necklace: Local expo...can't remember the local company that did it, but it is an actual petrified leaf in actual bronze! How cool! How bohemian! How me!

Ignore my face! It's weird in this picture! Also, it's hard to take your own pictures with a tripod when you don't have one of those smart phone/DSLR remotes!

 

I'm not one to divulge addresses and my all our addresses our on our doors in my townhome complex...so sorry for the black circle, but privacy! Also, this was the hardest pictue to take by myself!
