Weekend Haps

**There are still plenty of sponsor positions open for November (Short Story and Flash Fiction)! Leave a comment saying what you like most about The Morrell Tale to get 50% off!

Yesterday, my students were really lucky. Thursday was the end of Term 1, so they got Halloween off from school. However, I didn't--it was a teacher workday. Since I am a part-time teacher, I was only required to be there half the day. But, it seems like every teacher-workday, I don't get much done at all. Today, all I did was go to the opening staff meeting, a half hour Common Core writing meeting, submitted grades, and revise two drafts.

Yes, I know it seems like a lot, but I'm typically more productive! But, I had a massive headache!

Afterwards, Rhys and I headed to Justin's work for an office-wide trick-or-treat. Then, we headed to my parents' house to housesit the dogs and my little sister while they're in St. George for the weekend with my brother for his last marching band competition.

So, this weekend, we are in a nice big house with nice, big, soft beds. I have to finish revising essays and start planning the next writing and literature unit plans, but we'll see what actually gets done. I'd rather watch Rhys scoot across the floor.

So, for your weekend enjoyment, while I try to be productive this weekend,

--How I feel about my body after having a baby
--A new series about Confidence I'm starting on Sunday!
--Make a delicious appetizer this weekend
-- I really love this post about finding time for yourself as a mom
--This post makes me want to read all day and all night long!
