- waking up early every day, even on weekends, to nurse
- waking up during the night to nurse and soothe
- cuddling with your baby night and day
- having your baby stare up at you with big blue eyes in innocent, unadulterated love
- worrying over everything
- constantly caressing his hands, arms, legs, back, head, and cheeks
- loving your husband more, knowing he is the father of your child
- letting the dishes pile up, the laundry stay in the basket, the floor get dirty
- getting so excited about every new, simple skill
- getting too excited about every new, simple skill that you accidentally scare your baby
- eating a lot and drinking water a lot to keep up your milk supply
- scrutinizing that the noxious farts your baby has is being caused by something you ate
- laughing at the loud farts he makes
- having your heart melt every time he smiles up at you
- not caring that you still have half your pregnancy weight to lose
- taking a bazillion pictures and posting half a bazillion even though you promised yourself and your husband you wouldn't be that mom
- calling your mom, nurse-aunt, lactation specialist SIL for advice 24/7
- reading and researching parenting skills
- ignoring those books and forums (or at least trying to)
- difficult when you have to teach half a day, every day
- scary when you still haven't found a daycare provider
- scary about the thought that you have to leave him with a daycare provider
- talking baby talk
- playing peekaboo
- eating your babies feet and hands because they are too darn adorable
- talking about him even when you are on a date
- no matter how hard you try not to, comparing your son to other babies, especially your friends' babies who were born in the same month
- splurging on someone who isn't yourself!
- spending all your time watching him sleep
- getting excited at the thought of him growing up
- regretting that he'll grow up
- doing piles upon piles of laundry
- wishing he'll sleep a few minutes longer so you can finish showering, sleep a few more minutes, finish eating, grade one more paper
- debating whether or not to let him sleep or play with him a little longer before going to school or bed
- not getting school work, grading, lesson planning done at home
- not eating at the dinner table (yet--maybe when he has a high chair)
- invigorating
- something I'd definitely recommend
- wanting another one already
- not wanting another one yet
- the hardest, most stressful, most challenging change of my life
- the most rewarding decision I've ever made
- instinctual
- disregarding your instincts
- wanting to be a homemaker now more than ever
- a divine role given to women from Heavenly Father
- loving to sleep with him in bed
- the best thing in the entire world
- what I was meant to be

Being a mom is the best! I promised myself I wouldn't become one of those mom's who posted a million pictures… But, I simply can't help it!
