Ideal Shape Review and Giveaway~

Justin and I had the opportunity to do a review for Ideal Shape. (Keep reading: coupon code and  giveaway to come at the end!)

Somehow, we ended up with two packages, but Justin was excited. He said one for me and for him to each try it. 

I was astounded with what was in the packages! I was expecting just some "trial" or "sample" sized product,s but no! A full-sized shake bottle, a whole box of Ideal Bars, a 2lbs barrel of IdealShake powder (little more than two Slim Fast powder cans, which we typically buy), a full-sized bottle of vitamin supplements, and a PDF of the Ideal Shape for Life book! And, again, somehow we ended up with two!!!! 

Now, Justin and I both like protein bars and shakes (typically), and they are great for on-the-go meals. I've never used them to lose weight (only to maintain current weight), but Justin did before our wedding. We were excited to compare our previous experiences to this one. We tried everything except the pills because they contain green tea extract and we don't drink tea.

Tayler's Thoughts

I was probably the most excited about the shake bottle. With our slimfast powder, I would typically just drink it in a cup after vigorously stirring it. The powder would never fully dissolve. But the ball inside this bottle broke up the Ideal Shape powder easily, leaving me with a very sweet chocolate milk! I love how sweet the taste was! I also used the bottle to reshake green smoothies I brought with me to work. 

The meal replacement bars, I felt, were just ok. They were cinnamon caramel crunch, but I felt the cinnamon flavor overpowered the caramel flavor. 

Both kept me pretty satisfied (as they are hunger-blockers) until my next meal.

Justin's Thoughts

The meal replacement bars were tasty and worked at curbing your hunger, once your body was used to it (about 3-4 days for me).  The shake is also great at curbing hunger, but most importantly, it tasted great!  I've tried several different weight loss shakes and such, and this one tasted the best by far.  I'd buy it simply on the taste.

Just a few tidbits of info about Ideal Shape from the company:

• We suggest drinking a full glass of water after each shake. This helps to activate the hunger blocker. 
• Any time you cut back your calorie intake it will take a couple of days for your body to adjust. (Complaints of still feeling hungry) Also, making it into a smoothie gives it a little more substance, which some people may need.
• Be sure they are eating 5 times a day. We suggest 3 healthy snacks. The Idealbar works great for this. 
• Some bodies are not use to the amount of fiber and may need to start out with ½ a scoop for a week then move up to a full scoop
• Add liquid first then shake mix into shaker bottle for best results.
• Idealbars are a nutritious snack for any age.
