My Personal Pensieve

This is one of my most treasured possessions.

This is my own personal pensieve.
For those of you who don't know what a pensieve is, I'll let Dumbledore explain:
Dumbledore: I use the Pensieve. One simply siphons the excess thoughts from one's mind, pours them into the basin, and examines them at one's leisure. It becomes easier to spot patterns and links, you understand, when they are in this form.
Harry: You mean...that stuffs your thoughts?
Dumbledore: Certainly.

Justin made me a pensieve on our 1st anniversary. He painted a jar my three favorite colors: orange, purple, and green. In it, he typed up some of my favorite memories since meeting him and cut them into strips. He then started putting ticket stubs and other memorabilia from fun or important adventures I've been on.

Justin told me that whenever I am feeling down, or sad, I am to take my pensieve, open it, and relive the good memories I've had with Justin.
I love this pensieve. It has always brought  smile to my face when I've needed it.
Not only was it creative, but it is such a sentimental idea.

I love it and I love my husband.
I hope he makes one for each of our children.
