I like my outfits. True, they aren't J Crew, Nordstrom, Shabby Apple, or other high-class, expensive clothing. But, I do like my style and I do like dressing up. I have to--I'm a teacher!
I've typically taken pictures with my iPhone through the mirror, or begged my husband to take pictures of me with my iPhone. But, I don't have a fancy camera. I have a 5 year old Cannon Power Shot A1000 IS (at least I think that is what it is called).
So, I've decided, I will play at being a "fashion blogger" and try doing my own pictures!
Here it goes, my own, self-done photo shoot.
It was kind of awkward. I don't have a tripod. So, I used my laptop stand (kind of like a music stand) and use the 10 second timer. Then, for the vertical shots, I had to use a bag of brown sugar to hold it up. 1st class quality, I know.
Pretty good self-shot for the close up of the shirt, if I do say so myself! I really love the design of this shirt. But, what I also love about it is how light it is--a perfect summer shirt. It was a bit embarrassing to take the pictures because one of my neighbors was trying to get his dog to pee outside and he was just in his boxers!
I love dangling things--dangling earrings and dangling hair-things. I also really love the bohemian feel.
