Real Food for Real People on Real Budgets

How many of you have food allergies? Thankfully, I don't. However my husband and I have a couple we are very close friends with that do.  Gluten intolerance and lactose intolerance (cow milk) are among their allergies, as well as endometriosis. So, they have to be very careful with their food. But, they love food. He is part Korean and she has Argentinian and Italian in her blood, so food and cooking is very important to them. They are also undergrads in college, oh, and newlyweds.

How do they cater to their diets, eating food they love while staying on a strict diet? By being smart and innovative!


My husband and I have been guests in their house for dinner numerous times and have always gone home stuffed, but craving more of Rachel Huffaker Chang's food.

But why keep all the wealth to myself? Here I am going to share her blog with you where she keeps all her wonderful, nutritious recipes.


Just as an FYI, many of these recipes were created before Rachel was diagnosed, so make sure if you want those specific recipes, you look at the column on the right and click gluten-free or dairy-free!!!
