Here is my Summer Reading List:

This takes all different religious and esoteric traditions and tries to compile it into one "true" history.

With the Heart of a King by Benton Rain Patterson
This is about Elizabeth I's reign, especially with the issue of the Spanish Armada. (She is my favorite monarch)

Lady of the Rivers by Philippa Gregory
Mystical historical fiction about a noble during the War of the Roses (again, I love the Tudor dynasty as well as I love Gregory's books...she write a lot of historical fiction).

Kingdoms of the Celts by John King
A historical book about the major celtic tribes! Yaay!

Life of Pi by Yann Martel
A poor unfortunate soul is shipwrecked along with a tiger. His story.

The Tudor Age by Jasper Ridley
The Tudors, from Henry VII to Elizabeth I.

Cry of the Icemark by Stuart Hill
A Viking-ish princess has to save her kingdom.

The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli
A classic! Machiavelli gives advice on how rulers should act.

Magic, adventure, battles, love, the 12th book in the series!

The Cursed Towers (Witches of Eileanan) by Kate Forsyth

  1. You have quite a list going!
I really want to read "The Happiness Project," I've heard a lot of good things about it.
"Life of Pi" was good, and I was surprised at how quickly I finished it.
