Oh the Silliness of Names

My sister told me about a girl in California called L-a.

L-a.

How do you think that was pronounced?

La-dash-a. Ladasha. L'dasha. La'dasha.

But it is spelled L-a.

Crazy, right?

Well, thinking about it, when I was younger, I wanted a son with the name Jaerrod. No lie.

Names have been coming into my life more and more recently. I'm a teacher, I have almost 200 names to know and be able to spell. I'm married...when doesn't names come to mind?

So, my sister sent us this link of Utah names, just in case we needed some "ideas."

Crazy! And, no way would we ever use any of those names! (Although I do like Emerson!)

Then, Justin, because he likes football, stumbled upon this video of the weirdness and silliness of NCAA football names.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

My 3 favorites: Javaris Jamar Javarison-Lamar, Xmus Jaxon Flaxon Waxon, and EEEEE EEEEEEEEE!

So, if you are looking for some "unique" names to use, feel free to steal from either of these videos!

    1. KC, we thought it was hilarious as well! But even more funny, a few of my students want to appear on the blog and they've already told me their names (keep in mind it is a group of 4 GIRLS): Lafawnda, Bertha, L-a, and Frank.
