This past week alone: received my Temple endownments, watched the Olympic Opening Ceremonies with my family, went to Aberdeen, Idaho for a family reunion, food and more food, got keys to our married apartment, doing 3 long days of New Teacher Induction, a bunch of packing and scrubbing, Hunger Games, got back my bridal pictures, food and more food...have I mentioned food! (It's as if they are fattening me up for sacrifice rather than helping me fit into my tiny wedding dress!)
As Justin and I geniusly planned, we are getting married a week and a half before I have to start teaching. Within that 10-12 days, there is the wedding, the honeymoon, making our apartment a home, setting up my classroom, creating lesson plans, and planning for the first week of school.
Freaking out?
Just a tad.
But, here is our countdown from now:
1 Day: Bachelor/"Bachelorette" Party (aka me hanging out with mom and sisters)
2 Days: Marriage!!!!
4 Days: We drive to CA in preparation for our honeymoon.
5 Days: Cruise to Catalina Island and Ensenada, Mexico
9 Days: Come back to UT and fix up our apartment/Justin starts working again/Prepare to teach
14 Days: New Teacher Orientation
15 Days: 1st Staff Meeting
19 Days: 7th Grade Orientation
20 Days: 1st Day of Teaching
26 Days: Justin starts school again
So ya, we are kinda really busy this next month! But, we are in it together!
