Last time I did a cooking post was when I used one of my cookbooks to create Tomato and Mozzarella Gratin.
Last night, I was craving noodles, basil, and vegetables. (Basil is my favorite herb!) So, I made my own two dishes.
Alfredo-Basil Noodles.
Ingredients
~Noodles (which ever is your favorite--I like macaroni/elbow type noodles)
~A little bit of Alfredo sauce--creamy garlic is the best--make sure it isn't runny
~Cheese (either cheddar or mozzarella or both)
~Basil
Steps
- Boil noodles and drain
- Pour a tiny bit of Alfredo on, enough for the noodles to soak it all up
- Mix in shredded cheese--it should have the same texture as homemade macaroni and cheese now
- Liberally sprinkle basil on it
Then for the side, I made...
Sautéed Italian Vegetables
Ingredients
~Tomatoes, green and red peppers, zucchinis, banana squash (if you want)
~Italian seasoning
Steps
- Put butter on a pan
- Cut up vegetables and saute them in the butter
- Sprinkle some garlic salt and Italian seasoning on
