A Flurry of White Seeds

Today I worked concessions at our last home football game. The weatehr was bleak, gray, cold, and windy. There was expected rain and snow.

Walking to the stadium from home, tiny specks floated past me. Could it be snowing already? A closer look saw them to be fluffy white dandelion seeds - in the middle of November.

My stands are in the termial below the bleachers. There are 3 portal and 2 concourses, so there is still plenty of open area. Yet, a whirlwind of these white seeds surrounded us again. Instead of snow, we had wishes that were blown our way.

There could be a metaphor in this strange phenomenon, but, try as I might, I can't find any that apply to me. Still, it was an interesting sight to see - this flurry of white seeds.

I would have loved to take a picture, but these tiny specks would not have showed up in the picture.
